We understand that, although it is unfortunate, there is still a stigma associated with seeking counseling, and many people avoid getting help because they are afraid that it will negatively impact their career. Dr. Snipes handles VIP cases directly. She can either come to your office, conduct video counseling over a secure internet connection, or you can come to one of the satellite offices for CDS Ventures (Our parent company) in Manassas, Warrenton, Tyson’s Corner. There you will meet directly with Dr. Snipes without having to go through a receptionist or enter into a “doctor’s office.” If you choose to pay in cash, you can even remain anonymous. Note: If you use credit card or your insurance, then you will need to provide identifying information.
Our counselors use a holistic approach to recovery believing that rest, exercise, nutrition, positive relationships and a healthy environment all play a part in how we feel (and act)! We use a brief (12 weeks or less) solution-focused, cognitive behavioral approach. Our goal is to help you understand how your thoughts and feelings interact, and make lasting positive changes.
We have convenient hours from 10am until 6pm M-F, and by appointment on the weekends. We also have phone counseling services available for many issues. We provide mental health and substance abuse assessments, group and individual counseling, personal improvement seminars, case consultation and expert testimony in the areas of addictions, mental health, PTSD and mental health malpractice.
